How Youth Connections Bridge, z. s. handles your personal data — in plain language, because you have the right to actually understand it.

Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Youth Connections Bridge, z. s., registered seat Brusinková 1974, 252 28 Černošice, Czech Republic, IČO 24585483, registered at the Municipal Court in Prague under file L 81714. You can reach us through the contact form on this site or via data box spp7m2u.
What we collect and why
Contact form: your name, email, and message — used only to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
New-call notifications: your email address and language preference — used only to tell you when a new project opens. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw anytime by unsubscribing.
Project applications (once our application portal opens): identity and contact details, and — only where needed — health and dietary information, which we treat with extra protection and delete shortly after the activity ends.
Children and young people
Our projects welcome participants from age 13. For anyone under 18, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian before processing application data, and the guardian's contact details for the duration of the project.
We write our forms and notices so that young people can understand them — if anything here is unclear, tell us and we will fix the wording.
How long we keep data
Contact messages: up to 12 months after our last exchange with you.
Notification subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
Erasmus+ project records (participant lists, travel documents, payment evidence): 5 years after the final grant payment, because EU grant rules require it for audits. Health and dietary data are not part of that audit trail and are deleted within weeks of the activity.
Who we share data with
Erasmus+ project data is shared with the hosting/partner organisations of your specific project, the Czech National Agency (DZS), and European Commission systems (Beneficiary Module, Youthpass, EU Survey) as required by the grant.
Our website and database are hosted in the European Union. We do not sell data, ever, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, and take your data elsewhere. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it anytime.
Write to us via the contact form or data box spp7m2u. You also have the right to complain to the Czech Data Protection Authority (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).
