About us
A bridge built by young people, for young people
Youth Connections Bridge, z. s. is a Czech non-profit association creating international opportunities rooted in non-formal education.
Our mission
We support non-formal education, intercultural dialogue, and active citizenship — especially among young people — and develop international cooperation to make it happen. In practice, that means organizing Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses where young people from across Europe learn from each other, not from a whiteboard.
We are a young organisation and we like it that way: every project is built hands-on by people who remember exactly what their own first exchange felt like.
Our values in practice
Rights of children
Children's rights come first — in how we design programmes, select group leaders, handle data of minors, and give every participant a real say in decisions that affect them.
Human rights
Human rights education runs through our programmes: understanding rights is step one, learning to defend them — your own and other people's — is the goal.
Inclusion
Fewer opportunities must never mean fewer chances. We actively recruit participants who would not usually reach international projects and design activities to be accessible.
Child safeguarding
Every YCB activity involving minors follows our child safeguarding policy: vetted team members, clear codes of conduct, a named safeguarding contact on every project, and parental consent for participants under 18. The full policy is available on request and will be published on this site.
